Non-Cooled In-Chassis Solutions

GHH RAND® non-cooled in chassis LITE solutions offer an even lower weight than belt drive compressors. Our pioneering technology comprises of a self-contained airend with offset input shaft, integrated oil cooler and directly mounted/close coupled silencer providing a plug and play installation on most of European 6x2 and 6x4 tractors.

Safety friction coupling for gearbox protection is delivered as standard. The rear upper offset input drive shaft position guarantees ease of installation, low service and long life.

Meeting Market Demand

Restrictive regulations and specific regional market requirements including large fuel tanks, larger exhaust modules, 6 x 2 and 6 x 4 trucks continue to create space constraints on truck chassis limiting possibility to install traditional compressors. GHH RAND® has brought the concept of in-chassis compressor to the next level being the first to offer in-chassis compressor with rear upper offset input shaft and to complete the range to smaller capacity models suitable for cement and other construction materials.

German Engineered Geometrically Optimised Airend

Engineered in Germany, GHH RAND airends to offer an optimised geometry that ensures a good fit in the close confines within the chassis rails.

Close Coupled Reactive Silencer Fitted onto Airend

An integrated, geometrically optimised and suited to all space constraints unique reactive silencer is a perfect match to GHH RAND in chassis compressor. It bolts directly onto the airend to ensure neat fit inside the chassis of your vehicle, and reduce installation time.

Flexible Suction Port Options

Suction ports on both sides of the compressor offer mounting flexibility to the customer and helps simplify and shorten inlet pipework.

Protects your Investment

Corrosion free rotors protect your product from potential contamination and provide peace of mind on restart after standing. This, combined with our SILOL FG® lubricant, ensures compliance with foodstuffs and consumer law regarding food safety.

Reduced Drive Shaft Angle for Longer Life Expectancy

The input shaft located at the back uppermost of the airend allows increasing the length of the prop-shaft. This optimises the prop shaft angle ensuring compliance with supplier limits of compound angles, thus improving prop-shaft life expectancy and the off-road times.

Built-in Gearbox Protection as Standard

Overload friction couplings provide a safe barrier protection of the customer’s PTO and gear-box for ongoing peace of mind.

High Air Flow

Optimised product discharge times offer maximum performance whilst delivering low fuel consumption, engine noise and exhaust emissions.

2.5 bar Gauge Operation

All GHH RAND compressors offer 2.5 bar gauge operation across a wide speed and flow range, enabling discharge of problematic products in challenging applications.
